How to set up your PAX A920Pro POS terminal
Setting up your PAX A920 Pro POS terminal is quick and easy. Follow these simple steps to get started and be ready to accept payments in no time!
Step 1: Turn on your terminal
Power on: Press and hold the power button on the side of the device until the screen lights up.
Log in: Once the device is powered on, enter the provided username and password to log in.
Step 2: Change language (If needed)
Our team will give you the POS terminal set up in your language of choice, but you may choose to change it if needed.
After logging in:
Access settings: Click the Settings icon (usually a gear symbol ⚙️) from the main menu.
Select system: Find and click on "System", then select “Language & input”. You will see the “Language” option, choose your preferred language from the list.
If your language doesn’t appear click on “Add a language” to add a new one.
Step 3: Connect to Wi-Fi
Access settings: Click the Settings icon (usually a gear symbol ⚙️) from the main menu.
Open Wi-Fi settings: Find and select the "Network & internet". You can also scroll down the notification panel directly and long press the Wi-Fi icon.
Choose your network: Turn on the Wi-Fi button, and choose your desired Wi-Fi network from the list of available options.
Enter WI-FI password: Enter the Wi-Fi password if there is any and tap “Connect” You should see a confirmation once connected.
Step 4: Test your connection
Run a test transaction: To ensure everything is set up correctly, process a test transaction with a small amount. This will confirm that the terminal is connected and functioning properly.
Step 5: Customize settings (If desired)
Adjust screen brightness: In the settings menu, click on "Display", and then “Brightness level” to adjust it for optimal visibility.
Set date and time: Ensure that the date and time are correct to avoid any transaction discrepancies. If they are not, go to “Settings” once again, click on “System” and then “Date & Time” to change it.
Final tips
Charging the device: Ensure the terminal is fully charged before use. Connect it to the charger if needed.
Regular maintenance: Occasionally restart the device to maintain performance.
